Our story and vision

Initially we had only one Yorkshire Terrier, Misha who is now 8 years old. Originally Misha was a dog of our friends, and we used to take him when they were going to holidays. Slowly-slowly we fell in love with this little charismatic and very independent Yorkie, and we started to take him for the weekends, just to enjoy his company. Because of his outgoing character he clearly didn’t mind that. I still remember how we were thinking how badly we want Misha to be our dog, not just any other dog (i.e. new puppy), but just him… Our prayers were answered and back in 2015 Misha became our own dog. I can’t describe that joy we had, when we were told we can have him – our friend knew what he meant to us, plus they had some personal reasons why they couldn’t keep him. We were over the moon, and we were taking him everywhere we would go and he became part of our life and family member. He loves driving in car and gets very excited each time he would see us getting ready. Few years ago we started seriously considering getting him a little companion, a friend, as he really loves other dogs (disregard of the their size!) and always wants to play with them when we are going for a walk. This is when we started studying meticulously the breed. Because we ‘inherited’ Misha nothing of that was important at the time, we fell in love in dog that we knew, not because of his pedigree, or breed characteristics, but for his incredible personality and character. Since we were considering Yorkshire Terrier, we really wanted to get one, and not just a little dog who would looks like somewhat a Yorkie – again, this doesn’t mean you can’t love non-pedigree dog, but our intention was to get a good pedigree Yorkshire Terrier. We were even open whether to get a girl or a boy, as intention was just to get a friend for Misha, so he can have a company and not feel lonely when we both go to work. Future personality was a key, because Misha is very independent, my wife wanted to have affectionate dog that she can hug and cuddle. Well, we found one, her name is Adele and she is amazing, its very difficult to describe in simple words, its like she is from another planet: she is extremely cute and affectionate, she likes to be carried, sit on your lap, climb on top of you when you lay dawn, basically she acts like a cat to some extend. While searching for a new dog, we were not thinking or considering breeding, so its just coincident that we found girl, like I said, we were looking for personality, and its just happened that it was a girl.

Through our journey of looking for Adele we met some very reputable breeders and we were amazed by their standards, dedication, enthusiasm and commitment. Even though we didn’t ended up getting Adele from them, they were always there to help with advise and I was fascinated by their work, and this is when we realized that there yet another level of pedigree dogs, dogs that win competitions, dogs that people are talking about and willing to wait for these puppies. This is when we released that we want to become ‘these people‘, people who dedicate themselves into creating something beautiful, so that people like us can enjoy. Simply speaking, since we know and experienced what joy and happiness these little dogs brought into our life, we understand that there must be those other people who help to create these companions, no? This is when we got our third bitch Heidi, and only then, after so many years of research we were able to understand (and justify!) why such dogs come with such premium price. Heidi comes with an amazing ‘reach’ pedigree full of champions, with one of her relatives winning just recently World Dog Show in Brno, Czech Republic. Each breed has its own standards, and effectively the idea with breeding is not to make some ‘easy money (which are actually not that easy at all!), but to improve the breed, to make sure that future Sire and Dam do posses all the qualities, physical features and character required and desired for this breed, so that future litter will inherit them.

Initially we were not sure whether Adele does have all these qualities (apart from great and amazing personality), as she was never ‘intended’ for breeding, but after consulting with our mentors we were reassured that she does in fact fully ‘qualified’ to comply with principles and concepts outlined above.
